Instrument for Purchase - Violin Bow

To assist in continually upgrading its collection, GPA Holdings will from time to time, be putting up some of its instruments for purchase. Musicians and music students can purchase these good quality string instruments with high investment value at a reasonable price.

Edwin Otto, Herrmann Violin Bow

E. Hermann, as described in ‘Universal Dictionary of Violin and Bow Makers’:

“…Born 1893. Esteemed bow maker at Schonlind ( Saxony ), 1919.”

This particular bow in GPA’s collection is stamped with 3 stars, indicating that it is the highest grade bow from Herrmann. It has a repaired head which does not affect the playability of the bow, but has reduced its value from the collection point of view. It is approximately 61grams.
